Developmental Screenings

Understanding developmental milestones is an important part in identifying any potential delays a child may experience.  Once areas of concern are identified, steps can be taken to help a child progress and overcome these obstacles.

Because areas of concern are not always easily recognized by parents and caregivers, having a developmental screening can shed light on whether or not a child is meeting his/her developmental milestones.

The Learning Tree is excited to partner with O'Fallon District 90's Birth to Three Program to offer screenings to children under 36 months old.

The screenings are free and take approximately 45 minutes.  Parent and child will remain together while a specialist observes the child's communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, and personal-social skills.  At the end of the screening, parents will be given a report identifying areas in which their child may need a little extra attention.  This service is free and open to everyone, even if you are not a resident of O'Fallon District 90. You may schedule a screening through the O'Fallon District 90 Early Learning Center.
